In the first meeting (Adult Initial Consultation) the problem for which you are seeking psychological services is explored and assessed. At the end of the initial consultation, a preliminary diagnosis is provided to you and treatment recommendations are discussed.
Therapy session frequency and the total duration of treatment can vary and depends on the nature of the problem, diagnosis, and your own needs and capabilities. Typically, sessions last for 45 minutes and are scheduled from once per week to once every three weeks. More frequent sessions can be booked during times of crisis.
